Who we are
SlipRelay is a posting tool for sports content creators ("sellers"). This policy covers the SlipRelay website, dashboard, phone app and Telegram bot. You must be 21 or older to use SlipRelay.
What we collect
- Account info: your email, brand name, brand color, the plan you pick, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form).
- What you post: picks, odds, units, game times, schedules, slip screenshots you upload, and your win/loss record.
- Connected accounts: the access tokens or webhook links each platform gives us when you connect it (Discord, X, Bluesky, Telegram). They're encrypted at rest. We never see or store your passwords for those platforms.
- Billing: your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and subscription status. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Technical data: a login cookie that keeps you signed in, your IP address for blocking repeated wrong passwords, and short-lived server logs.
Site analytics: we count visits to our own website ourselves, with no outside analytics company and no cookies. For each visit we record the page, the site that linked you here, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), how far you scrolled, which signup buttons you clicked and which card options you tried. To count unique visitors we use a code made from your IP address, browser and a random value that changes every day. That code can't be traced back to you or linked from one day to the next, and your IP address isn't stored. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, none of this is recorded.
The card you build on our home page (brand name, colors, look) stays in your own browser so it's there when you come back, and so signup can start your account with it. It isn't sent to us unless you sign up.
We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we don't sell or rent your data.
How we use AI
When you upload a slip screenshot or type a pick, we send it to Anthropic's Claude AI to read the bet details (team, line, odds, stake and game time). You always see and can edit the result before anything posts. Anthropic deletes what we send within 30 days and doesn't use it to train its models, except content flagged for misuse under its usage policy, which it may keep up to 2 years, or where the law requires it. We don't use AI to make betting decisions or to give betting advice.
Who we share data with
Only the companies needed to run SlipRelay, each getting only what its job needs:
- Stripe (payments): your email, plan and payment details, for subscriptions and invoices.
- Anthropic (AI): slip images and typed picks you choose to have read.
- DigitalOcean (hosting): stores the app and its data on servers in Toronto, Canada.
- Brevo (email delivery) and Google (Gmail) (our sending address): your email address and the account emails we send you (welcome, free-week reminders and other account notices). We may switch to the email service Resend later and will update this list when we do.
- Discord, X, Bluesky and Telegram: the posts, pick cards and slip images you tell us to publish, sent to the accounts you connected. Once posted, those platforms' own policies apply.
- ESPN: we look up public game schedules and scores by team name. No personal data is sent.
We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect SlipRelay or its users from fraud or abuse.
How long we keep it
- Your account, picks and record stay while your account is open, so your record stays complete. Slip screenshots are deleted automatically 30 days after the pick; the pick itself stays. You can delete all your slip images sooner: Accounts, then "Delete my slip images now".
- When you delete your account, everything is removed right away. Our nightly backups roll off within 30 days.
- Demo accounts (from "Try the demo") are deleted automatically after 3 hours.
- Site analytics records are deleted after 180 days.
- Stripe keeps billing records as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account yourself: Accounts, then "Delete account". It cancels your subscription and permanently deletes your data. Posts already published on other platforms stay there until you delete them on each platform.
- Cancel anytime: Accounts, then "Cancel subscription". Cancel during the free week and you're never charged.
- Disconnect a platform anytime in Accounts. We delete its stored token.
- Email opt-out: every non-essential email has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it. Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU and UK), you may have more rights, and we'll honor them.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, connected-account secrets are encrypted, slip images are private to your account, and repeated wrong logins are blocked. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
