Connect Discord (free and VIP channels)
You need: to own the Discord server, or have Manage Webhooks there. A computer is easiest.
- In SlipRelay, open Accounts → Discord → Connect free channel.
- Discord opens its own screen. Pick your server and your free picks channel, then click Authorize.
- You're back in SlipRelay with "Discord free channel connected".
- Sell VIP? Click Connect VIP channel (optional), or Add VIP channel if free is already connected. Pick your private VIP channel and Authorize.
The Discord row now shows free channel · VIP channel. No bot is added to your server, and nobody gets pinged.
Tip: in Discord, open the channel's Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks, find the SlipRelay webhook, and set its name to your brand and its avatar to your logo. Posts then come from "you".
Can't use the button? Under the Discord row, open Paste a webhook instead. In Discord, go to the channel's Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook → Copy Webhook URL, and paste the URL into the free or VIP box.
Problems
- "Discord didn't connect": you pressed Cancel, or the approval timed out. Click Connect again.
- I don't see my server: you need to own it or have Manage Webhooks.
- Wrong channel: in Discord, open the webhook and change its Channel. No need to reconnect.
- A red "Last post failed" panel on the card in Accounts: it says when and why the last post failed, with a fix. Click the Reconnect button it shows, or Open Picks and tap Retry failed on the pick.
